At Ashton KCJ we know that the way we operate can have a significant impact on the environment.

Every choice made within the firm - from the sort of paper, printers, lighting and heating used contributes to the firm’s carbon footprint and they have a cost to the environment.

As a responsible employer, we are committed to reducing the firm’s impact on the environment and striving towards a more sustainable future.

We are always setting and reviewing targets in a number of areas to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint. We have asked our staff what areas they would like to be reviewed and they are:

  • paper and printing
  • transport usage
  • energy and water
  • lighting
  • recycling.

The CSR committee are responsible for the firm’s environmental policy. But we also believe that the firm’s environmental performance will be achieved by all of us working together. In 2011, we were awarded the Suffolk Carbon Charter (Silver status) in recognition of the energy saving and carbon reduction measures we have put in place.
